Everyone can enjoy the Maui Fair, even if you’re in a wheelchair! Every year the Maui Fair reserves a special day for persons whose physical and/or mental limitations preclude their attendance at the Maui Fair during regular operating hours. This year’s “Special Fair Day” is Friday, September 28, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Transportation, rides, games, entertainment, lunch, and refreshments are offered free of charge to physically and mentally challenged members of the community. The Maui Fair, Hale Mahaolu, and donations from businesses and community organizations make this event possible. Maui is the only island that hosts an event like the Special Fair. Donations are welcome and volunteers are needed.
All special guests, assistants and volunteers must be registered in advance in order to receive passes to The Special Fair Day.
Mahalo to all those who give their support and donate their time and services to making this event such a big success!
