Bonsai originated in China approximately 1,700 years ago. This art form of miniaturizing a tree in a pot has subsequently spread to every nation of the world.
The Valley Isle Bonsai Club exhibit will be at the west end of the War Memorial Gym as usual. Several club members will be available to discuss bonsai shapes, tree types, aesthetic principles, etc, of a quality bonsai. The public is invited to vote for their top four selections in “Viewers Choice”.
